FANTASTIC is now into its second year and has just passed its IRR – Integration Readiness Review. The next exciting phase, starting now, will focus on planning
all the test activities needed to validate the FANTASTIC prototypes.

Today, September the 11th 2018, the first benchmark receiver for the FANTASTIC field-tests arrived at ISMB in Torino, Italy. The receiver is a Swift Piksi: a multi-band, multi-constellation RTK GNSS receiver that promises centimeter-level accuracy at a low cost. The Piksi evaluation kit will be installed on the test cart with the FANTASTIC prototype and with the other benchmark receivers.
