The FANTASTIC project is moving fast towards the test phase of our prototypes. Today, September the 13th 2018, our team visited the Univiersity of Turin Dept. of Agriculture facilities near Torino, Italy, to plan the next steps for the data collections, which will start in the fall. The FANTASTIC project’s team was quite large, with researchers from: Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (partner of the project), European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC is supporting the project) and Universitat Politecnica de Catalunia – UPC (the external technical reviewer).
The collaboration with the DISAFA – Agriculture Department of the University of Turin allows the FANTASTIC project to access real scenarios and test the equipment on-field. All the test campaigns will be very important to stress the developed prototypes, and assess the real performance.
